I don’t know about you, but the floral trend has taken over my wardrobe this spring/summer, with so many pretty things all over the high street and online covered in the floral print. This Ruby Sky London playsuit optimises the look, and at £19 there is no excuse not to be on trend! Here I have let the print do the talking adding only a simple pair of summer sandals, but this would also look lovely teemed with some simple gold jewellery for holiday nights. If your lucky enough to be going to a festival this summer this jumpsuit would also be a great staple look with its wide leg giving it a hippy vibe adding a flower garland, kimono and fringed bag, would give you the coachella vibes you’ve been lusting over. Jumpsuits are a perfect summer look for those who don’t like to wear dresses, but want to feel just as dressed up! And at £19 you have no excuse not to add this beautiful piece to your summer wardrobe.
So the weathers finally warming up, typically when I’m just about to go on my jollies! And for all those shopaholics like me the sales have started!! (hello having no money for the rest of the month) with summer at our grasp we can finally whip out the shorts and bikinis! I decided my first summer look would feature these gorgeous flared palazzo pants from Chella fashion a new clothing boutique that has recently made its way into Topshop, so I can only imagine good things to come from them in the next few months, so keep an eye out! These bright orange pants are sure to make you stand out this summer, and are super versatile, perfect for dressing up for a night out on holiday, as I have styled them here with a crop from my fav Zara, though there are lots of gorgeous crops floating about at the moment, which are really affordable. With Miss selfridges 90s crop at only £8 and Topshops short crops again at £8, these are an essencial for styling up your summer wardrobe! I’ve also added my statement necklace from @Glitteratimusthaves an accessories boutique on Instagram, this beautiful statement peice is perfect for glaming up any outfit and is so much more reasonably priced in comparison to buying such an extravagant pieces from the high street. Like I said the palazzo pants can also be dressed down, excellent for throwing over your bikini to walk down to the beach, complete this look by layering over a crotchet top, and adding your sunnies. As your probably aware I’m a little on the short side, so I was worried the palazzo pant would make me even shorter… If that’s possible! but the wide leg makes the trousers appear as a maxi skirt and the horizontal pattern used teamed with the crop showing a little of my middle seems to lengthen me out which is always a bonus! The trousers are super comfy and lightweight and are a great staple this summer, creating and on trend, classic hippy esk look that isn’t too over the top!
Summers just around the corner, and lime is starting to make an appearance all over the high street, a statement colour is perfect for reviving your wardrobe and standing out in the sunshine. Here I’m wearing my beautiful handmade jumpsuit from @marquisandivy a new online boutique who can be found on Instagram, this is an essencial for summer as it’s lightweight material keeps you cool in the sun, and it’s super comfy! I’ve always been a massive fan of jumpsuits and there so easy to dress up and down, here I’ve dressed this lovely lime number up pairing it with a contrasting white blazer and nude shoes both from Zara (obviously), I wanted to keep the focus on the jumpsuit so it was essencial to keep the accessories simple and classic. I’ve also added my statement necklace from www.phantomjewels.co.uk if you haven’t already checked there Instagram and website out, I would suggest you do! There statement pieces are out of this world and completely different to anything you would find on the high street and much more reasonably priced! As I find topshop jewellery can sometimes be a little pricey! This necklace is perfect for glaming up any outfit as a touch of sparkle never goes a miss!
Happy friday!! Today is a good day as I’m off to see one direction tonight… I’m not ashamed to say I love them!, if you need a new dress for the weekend make sure you check out inthestyle.com as all this seasons Lauren pope dresses are now half price!! Including this pretty pink number I’m wearing! Perfect for summer, thus is such a pretty little dress! I’ve teamed it here with my yellow adorn accessories necklace for abit of a colour clash! Don’t miss out girlies!
Hope you’re all having a lovely bank holiday weekend! I just had to share with you these beaut yellow high waisted shorts from my favourite shop ever…. You’ve guessed it Zara! At the bargain price of £9.99?? How could you go wrong! I bought these pastel perfect shorts for my holidays, my excuse for buying anything at the moment! Hehe but wanted to see how I could dress them up, adding a simple white crop and light blazer again from Zara, perfect for a day out shopping with food and cocktails. Or easily made much more casual by removing the blazer. I’ve also added my gorgeous yellow necklace from adorn accessories to tie the whole outfit together, I think this is a perfect spring/summer outfit and these yellow summer shorts are the perfect summer staple, and at £9.99 who would argue! Oh and there super comfy!!
Happy Monday girlies! I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend in the sunshine!! Need a pretty dress for drinks in the sun? Well this cute little floral collared dress is the one! Super cute, classy and bang on the floral trend. This sweet dress is part of the new Lauren Pope collection from inthestyle.co.uk and is super affordable at £29.99 perfect for dressing up and down! I would recommend sizing up if you’re a little taller as I’m pretty short and it fits me perfect!! I’ve styled this with my beautiful, simplistic chain necklace from lelapinuk.com to add a little bit of detailing, though I didn’t want to over power the dress with jewellery as the floral print is so powerful. I’ve also added my bargain heeled sandles £6 from primark in a light grey, again not too overpowering to compliment the dress. To me this is a perfect going out summer look, as I don’t know if others feel the same but I’m always struggling on how to dress well in the hot summer weather without just shoving a pair of denim shorts on hehe xx
